Do you ever feel like you're always forgetting something? If you're human, it's totally normal! Many times, the causes are simple — lack of sleep or attention, poor memory retrieval or even your vitamins — and are not something to worry about, says neuroscientist and author Lisa Genova. For instance:⁠⁠- Misplaced your keys? Not a big deal.⁠- Forgot someone's name? Again, no biggie. ⁠- Lost your car in the parking garage at the mall? Happens to the best of us. ⁠⁠But forgetting how you actually got to the mall or basic tasks like how to do your laundry, could be a sign of something more serious, like dementia or Alzheimer's, says Genova.
